It was known as the style rocaille, or rocaille style.[2] It soon progress additional parts of Europe, particularly northern Italy, Bavaria, Austria, additional parts of Germany, and Russia. It next came to influence the new arts, particularly sculpture, furniture, silverware and glassware, painting, music, and theatre.
